Independent Celebrant for Funerals, Weddings and Ceremonies in Torfaen, Newport, South Wales.
My name is Lesle and I am a professional writer of ceremonies for weddings, renewal of vows, naming days, funerals and any other ceremony you can think of. I trained with the UK Society of Celebrants, a highly recognised professional team of Celebrants.
I provide local families with a bespoke ceremony to celebrate the life of a loved one.
A Funeral Celebrant is someone who will help you to celebrate the life and passing of your loved one. Funeral celebrants conduct non-religious, semi-religious and spiritual funeral services. This approach places greater emphasis on how the person lived their life and their personality traits.
I can also assist families by writing a pre written funeral ceremony. This helps to give a sense of relief that those special memories have been captured.
Each service is created individually and personalised for your loved one. You may wish your ceremony to be totally non religious or to contain hymns, prayers, or elements to reflect beliefs and philosophies. These life centred funerals truly celebrate the life of the person who has died whilst at the same time sensitively acknowledging the grief of those left behind.
Your ceremony is an opportunity to share your future together and make a commitment in front of your family and friends. This is a life event and is special to "you", with as much or as little formality as you wish. Bring along your pets, make it themed, choose your music and readings. A wedding ceremony can include special elements e.g. a unity candle, hand tying and sand ceremony to name but a few.
I also offer a range of ceremonies such as baby naming ceremonies which have become increasingly more popular. Maybe you would love to renew your vows to acknowledge the strength of your relationship. I offer a range of bespoke ceremonies, please get in touch for more information or to book.
As an Independent Celebrant living locally in New Inn, Torfaen, I can provide your family with a bespoke ceremony to celebrate the life of a loved one that has died.
My promise is to deliver a professional service that celebrates your loved one's life and reflects their character in a fitting tribute.
I will make a personal visit to help you plan the structure of the ceremony and can give you advice on readings, poems and music as well as writing and reading the eulogy if requested. I'll take the time to understand what kind of ceremony you truly want; we'll work in collaboration.
This approach places greater emphasis on how the person lived their life, their personality and will incorporate their wishes. Your family will be supported throughout the ceremony and I will then provide you with a keepsake printed copy of the ceremony. If you need help at a later date with an internment of ashes or memorial service then please let me know.
Planning a funeral is an important conversation and I can help with end of life ceremony preparation enabling your loved ones to be involved in their final words of goodbye.
